Quinlin Preston
Throws
Coach Quin Preston is a lifelong track and field athlete. Coach Preston believes that all around health comes from balance. Have the courage to find what you are best at, and don’t be afraid to try it because you aren’t the best yet.
A multiple time competitor at USTAF and AAU junior Olympics and New Balance Nationals, he competed as an NCAA decathlete and thrower. His favorite event cycles between the javelin and hammer throw, with the middle distances coming close behind. Quin has gotten the chance to be coached by and train with Olympians in multiple events, to include Mondo Duplantis, Jeff Hartwig, Jackie Joyner-Kersee, and Tom Petranoff.
Quin is an active-duty Marine Corps officer stationed at the Naval Postgraduate School, living in Pacific Grove with his partner, Em , and their 2 year old black lab, Kilo.
Run fast, throw far,

Angelika Owens
Strength and Conditioning
I coach high school track and field, train clients, and dive deep into nutrition science. My favorite exercises: Teaching Olympic lifts and watching athletes discover the power they didn’t know they had. Nothing beats seeing someone finally nail a clean or crush their sprint PR. I’m passionate about teaching youth athletes and how sports can transform their future—building not just stronger bodies, but confidence, discipline, and resilience that carries into every part of life.
